graduated at the Higher School of Fine Arts in Poznan (Academy of Fine Arts) *
he debuted as a stage designer at the Great Theatre in Łódź in 1989, creating the artistic setting for the spectacle 'Ernani' by Verdi - for this he was awarded his first Golden Mask. Then he was a main stage designer of the Opera and Operetta in Szczecin, Great Theatre in Poznań *
in art he continued family's tradition. His father Zbigniew Kaja was a graphic designer and representative of the Polish School of Posters*
the main inspiration for all his works was the specific perception of the world derived from the prose of Bohumil Hrabal fot. - Leszek Jamrozik
