Maria "Mucha" Ihnatowicz was a graphic designer and poster artist

From 1957 to 1962, she studied at the Faculty of Graphic Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, graduating from the studio of Henryk Tomaszewski.
From 1968, she served as art director of the magazine Świat Mody (“Fashion World”).
From the mid-1960s until the 1990s, she designed covers for the KIK publishing series of Państwowy Instytut Wydawniczy (State Publishing Institute).
She was the designer of numerous film posters.
